    Beaumaris Farmers Market

    Beaumaris Farmers Markets are held on the second Saturday of every month. Facilitated by volunteers from Beaumaris Rotary, the market has 60 stall holders offering good quality fresh produce at a reasonable price and a wonderful community atmosphere. Running every second Saturday the market gives the opportunity to purchase great food and will get you out of the house this winter!

    Ricketts Point Marine Sanctuary

    Ricketts Point Marine Sanctuary is located just off Beaumaris, where sloping cliffs of sandstone jut out into Port Phillip Bay. At the water's edge the rock has been worn down into a series of platforms and rock pools, creating a varied and easily accessible marine environment.     Nature buffs, children and even pampered pooches can explore and enjoy over forty parks, gardens and heathlands.  Most areas are family-friendly with facilities such as on-street parking, toilets, barbeques, drinking fountains and sporting equipment.  Bayside welcomes dogs and has designated areas where they can romp off-leash. The times vary between locations and also during daylight saving hours, so visit the Council website for accurate information.  Please observe any signs in parks, reserves and beaches as these rules are there to protect the native wildlife.
