    Yarra River

    A Melbourne icon, the Yarra River is the focus for numerous spectacular events. The banks of the river have a number of barbecue and picnic facilities, fishing platforms and jetties. In addition, there are trails and paths for cyclists, walkers and joggers.  Head down to the banks of the Yarra River and take in the spectacular views of the river and the city skyline in the back ground, the best spot for this is near the Royal Botanical Gardens.

    If you are passionate about food, the planet and your community, join a special group of farmers and locals at the Boroondara Farmers Market, where you can shop for produce from all around Victoria. You’ll find fresh fruit and vegetables, seasonal organics, meat, herbs, honey, eggs, bread, olives, cakes, dips and sauces, chocolate, flowers and plants, even wine and beer.
